AGC construction Spending Analysis Shows Biggest Increase in 8 Years

Despite a harsh winter, year-over-year construction spending has increased by the greatest amount since 2006, according to an analysis of Census Bureau data by the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC).

The total cost of construction put into place in January was $943 billion, 9.3 percent higher than in January 2013.
