Construction Spending Slips in March

Spending on construction projects in March dropped from February levels, but showed modest growth over March 2014, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC).

Total spending was $967 billion, a 0.6 percent reduction from February but a 2 percent increase over last year. The weakest sectors were residential and public construction.
