Construction Unemployment Hit Record February Low

Last month, February construction unemployment hit its lowest level since the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) started keeping records in 2000.

The low unemployment is accompanied by a quickening rise in construction wages — over the past 12 months average hourly earnings in construction increased by 2.4 percent, nearly double the 1.3 percent increase during the previous 12 months.
