The project designer placed HVAC and lighting retrofits in service for an airport terminal in the Southwest. Features included new split-system condensers with condensing boiler and a lighting retrofit using T8 bulbs. The installation created the energy savings of 36.5% for the HVAC system and an LPD reduction of 42.9% for the lighting system. These savings earned the full lighting and HVAC Section 179D deduction, $1.20 per square foot, for a total amount of $44,493.60.
