Concord Announces National Committee Appointments

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE [Louisville, KY, April 29, 2016] — Concord announced today that Managing Member Dennis J. Stilger, Jr. has been named to committees of two major national engineering associations.

Committee appointments. Concord recently joined the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), and each of the associations named Managing Member Dennis J. Stilger, Jr. to committee positions.

ACEC, a leading advocacy group for the engineering industry, named Stilger to the organization’s Tax and Regulatory Affairs Committee.

SAME, the country’s premier association for public- and private-sector companies and individuals involved in military engineering work, has asked Stilger to join its Small Business Council and the Committee on Energy and Sustainability.

“Each of these appointments is an honor, and an opportunity,” said Stilger.

“They allow us to keep abreast of the latest information in the industries we provide services to. They enable us to keep these important players apprised of the powerful, but too often unknown, Section 179D tax deduction we specialize in.

“And they position us to advance important goals — such as advocating that Congress further extend this deduction that so many of our clients have benefited from.”
